Having loved ones in need during the holidays has completely shifted my perspective on what the season is all about - the gift of LOVE and not things.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This month I’ve spent more nights sleeping in hospital chairs than I have my own bed, but I wouldn’t change a thing. This holiday the ones who need me most have my undivided attention and I thank God for the chance to give more from my heart than my wallet. // 📸: @alexis.cole1

The last seven days have been a whirlwind for me and my family.

My grandmother, who is one of my favorite people in the world, coded during a routine surgery and almost left this earth quicker than I was ready for. I cancelled a trip I’ve been planning for six months in order to stay by her side and after a series of heart attacks, seizures, and close calls she’s still here with us. 🙏🏽 I’m thankful for every miracle in the midst of the madness. Pray with me for a full recovery.
