Pinky Promise Conference

"Last week, I made my final trip of the summer to Hot-Lanta! A huge party of my family is in the Atlanta area, so it's always fun going to visit. My trip to the ATL was jam packed everyday! The first four days of my trip I attended the 2014 Pinky Promise conference with a friend of mine and the other half of the time I did tons of sight-seeing. We had so much fun meeting all of the young women who were at the conference to seek God's heart for their lives. In the morning we had quiet time, which gave us in opportunity to seek God as soon as we woke up in the am and after that was Zumba! Throughout the day there were different activities and workshops and at night all of the women came together for a corporate worship service. It was a great experience to be around so many beautiful woman who were seeking God's face. God definitely touched my heart as a result of the conference and gave me a fresh word for this next season that I am about to walk into.

I go back to school in less than a week and there are so many things that are on my to-do list! I could easily become anxious about everything that needs to be done, but instead I trust that it's all going to work out! My week in Atlanta was refreshing! Not necessarily physically relaxing, but spiritually! I believe that when you put God first He will make all things work together for your good. That's what the bible says! Sometimes we can get so busy in the middle of a deadline that we forget the One who is keeping us from falling apart. Having a weekend to really focus on God and put all my attention back on Him was vacation enough for me!

Just a Thought: Remember that even in the busiest of times, NEVER neglect your time with God. His word is as refreshing as the vacay you've always wanted. Seek Him first.

I hope all of you are doing well! I pray that God blows your mind this week in your time with Him. All He wants is a "YES" from us. Once you give God room in your life and carve out time for Him, you are bound to see Him fulfill every one of His promises for your life. Stay encouraged, Loves.

BTW: The next post I do will most likely be back in the Chi! I'm thinking of a back to school post. Any suggestions?

With Love,
