(Sorta) Spring!
FINALLY! I'm so happy that the weather has started to break here in Chicago. Last week it hit 65 degrees and people were so quick to throw on their shorts and tank tops. I'm starting to understand that when you get a beautiful day here in the spring, you take advantage of it because it could be snowing the next day (that literally happened last week). So there are 4 more weeks left of school and I plan on enjoying every beautiful day here in the city until I go home for the summer. I'm going to be breaking out some of my favorite spring and summer pieces soon and I will hopefully be posting more within the upcoming weeks. While I was home over spring break I stole this beautiful vintage Yohgi Yamamoto coat from my mom's closet and have been waiting for a perfect time to wear it. It's actually made out of wool but its super light weight and easy to wear! It's perfect for these unpredictable Windy City days.

Also, Ive been working on a devotional post that I'll be posting soon. This scripture is the cause. It has been my bread and butter for the past month and I hope that it encourages you too.
"If you will humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, in his good time he will lift you up.
Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you." - 1 Peter 5:6-7
Hope you all are doing well! Have a blessed week :)
Until next time,
