Twenty-Two!

This past Thursday I celebrated my 22nd birthday! I wanted to keep it very chill and low-key so I decided to have a small intimate dinner with some of my closest friends.  We went to a really chic restaurant in the South Loop called The Kitchen. The layout of the restaurant was beautiful and we made good use of the decor by having our very own mini-photoshoot after dinner. I am so thankful for the beautiful people that God has placed in my life.

Birthdays are always very spiritual to me and before the start of a new year in life I go to God in prayer and ask for direction on the year ahead of me. This birthday I was full of gratitude for what the Lord has already done in my life. He has protected me and guided me through every part of my journey. I am humbled by the size of my purpose every day. I look back on all of the things that He's brought me through and it draws me even closer to Him. I find myself getting choked up at random times during the day because I remember where I was just three years ago! I was in my dorm room at ORU crying out to God asking Him to do something with my life. I didn't know what my purpose was. I was afraid that I was about to waste my entire life just "getting by" and never tapping into what I was created to do. I was unhappy with where I was and I knew that God had bigger plans for me. In just a short three years He has exceeded my expectations and blown my mind! I wouldn't be half of the woman that I am today without his grace.

I pray you all are doing well!

With Love,
