Spring is Near!

With Chicago's weather becoming abnormally warm for March temperatures, I thought it was only right to show you all one of my favorite winter-to-spring transition looks. I thrifted this Brooks Brothers jacket last summer at a Salvation Army in Birmingham, MI. It was one of the first pieces I picked up in the store and it was only $20!

THRIFTING TIP: If you're looking for high end pieces at thrift stores you'll have better luck going to higher end neighborhoods. You're more likely to find a vintage Fendi clutch in the suburbs rather than the city.

By the end of winter I always feel like Im in a style rut, so the change in weather has been great for me. I am sick of oversized sweaters and all I wanna do is throw on a crop top! My goal for this spring is to add more colors into my wardrobe. The winter months put me in a very neutral color palette, but I'm going to ((try)) and add a little something extra. I've also been on the lookout for the perfect red floral romper! I have been daydreaming about it since January and I have yet to find "the one". Hopefully by May I'll have found it and I can do a dream post in some fancy garden here in Chicago. Here's to hoping!

I've also been loving my Alex & Ani arm candy with the inscription "Sweet Jesus" on it.  A subtle detail that means the world to me. S/O to Camille Bridges for the sweet sweet gift. :)
