Effortless Comfort

Hi Beautiful People! 

Just giving you a taste of my wardrobe this week. Chicago's weather has been extremely disappointing and I'm pretty much fed up with it. In order to cope with the dreariness, I threw on my comfy floral pants from American Eagle and this extra cool cropped sweater that I found at Akira. I normally don't shop at Akira, but this top drew me in! I love statement tops and I feel like I can never find enough of them. They make you look like you've put so much effort into your look when you really didn't. 

FYI: I am all about making my looks as effortless as possible, simply due to the fact that I hate fumbling through my closet in the morning. #AintNobodyGotTime

On another note, I hope all of you are doing well! April has been a busy month for me and its only going to get more demanding. I've started to realize that when my days get long, my prayer time needs to get even longer. I'm learning how to be intentional about my prayer time and I understand that if I don't get that one-on-one time in with God, my days seem all out of focus. However, with prayer I am always at peace because I have already discussed my day with God. I've given Him permission to lead my way and make all of my paths clear. Every day may have a different trial, but with God those trials look trivial in comparison to how great He is. Just watch! That discipline that you put in your prayer time will start to trickle into other areas of your life and you will notice how much stronger you feel in your day to day walk with God and people. Stay encouraged and keep going! One day we will live in the fruit of this moment.
